Lucie Sweeney

Lucie is highly qualified and experienced in the field of well-being and mental health. She is a fully qualified coach (through Barefoot Coaching and the University of Chester); she also holds a Level 3 Qualification in Counselling Skills and is a fully qualified teacher. As well as working 1:1 with clients, Lucie also designs and delivers City & Guilds and CPCAB accredited courses within Mental Health, Social Work, the Creative Arts and Counselling. Her work also involves creating and delivering bespoke training for small and large-scale businesses and schools.

Recent workshops facilitated by Lucie have included topics such as:

• Youth Mental Health First Aid (2 day Course): this is for anyone who works with children and young people (ie: teachers, social workers, nurses, youth workers, therapists, educational professionals)
• Introduction to Mental Health and Well-being: exploring what mental health/well-being is, what stress is, resilience factors and how to increase these; fight, flight or freeze; signs and symptoms of emotional distress; ABC Cognitive Behavioural strategies; tips and techniques to manage well-being, and challenging unhelpful thinking habits.

In her spare time, Lucie also runs Luciiann Gifted Art, creating and selling artwork for commercial and residential interior design projects.
